Transformative Theater. Inspiring Contemporary Stories. Activating Community Connections
Click to DonatePower Street Theatre (PST) is dedicated to art for social change by investing in creative thought leaders, multidisciplinary artists, and community voices through prioritizing representation, accessibility, education, arts advocacy, and joy.
PST nurtures a culture of access, advocacy, and appreciation for the arts. We utilize theater to create spaces that encourage dialogue about political and social issues. We are creating art of radical resistance and honoring the stories of our communities.
Currently, we are fundraising $5,000 to provide free childcare for our matinees. Check out our upcoming Instagram Live on April 18th at 6:30pm est featuring Tony Award Winning actor KO “Karen Olivo” with PST’s Erlina Ortiz, and Gabriela Sanchez in conversation with Tamanya Garza from Parent Artist Advocacy League (PAAL) and Leanne Gadow from Broadway Babysitters. The campaign will end on Friday, May 31st 11:59pm.
